on 2/25/2008 7:27:09 PM
As I write this Obama is hosting a rally at the Wright State University Nutter Center about half a mile from my house.  It started at 6 pm and when I drove past at 4pm there was already a line wrapped around the building.  I was going to stop […]

AAAWWWW
on 1/16/2008 9:00:14 AM
I'm not a big fan of Mrs. Clinton.  In fact, it is safe to say until last night, I could put all the respect I carried for the woman in a thimble. What happened last night? To make sense of last night, I have to go back a little bit further. I am […]

XBox 360..Hip? Or Hype?

on 10/2/2007 9:19:02 AM
My 11 year old son asked for a 360 for his birthday next month. He is a huge Halo fan.  Once he played Halo3 at a friend’s house, he can’t seem to talk about anything else. But $450?!?! That seems like a lot of money for a game system.  […]

Hey Tonya!  I found your blog.  I heard you plugging joeuser.com at the last meeting and decided to take a look.  Everyone from the group will probably be looking at it.  Don't write anything naughty.

We're at the base library right now.  J is trying to find a book while I am searching for Tricare benefits.

I guess it is your turn.  Since there was no winner, all the states (instead of just the early ones) are getting the bums rush.  Terp ran a story after our turn about "silence" being golden (the non -ringing of the phones).  I was still getting calls after 7pm on the night of the primary! (polls closed at 7).

Not that surprising though.

For Democrats, believing in something is the same as doing something.  Supporting Obama makes them a good person in their eyes.

I never heard about the coin thingy until Brian told me when he got one from the Secretary of the AF when he met him because of a visit regarding one of Brian's projects. Are they all different? What do they look like? Who exactly passes these out just high rankers? What is the significance of these coins?

Just curious.
You know, I didn't really notice if he was tall, but if I'm remembering right he was about average. I don't remember thinking, "Wow, this guy is really tall"...haha. (Oh, he was Marine, haha, does that affect the tallness issue?)

What I DO remember is what a smooth talker he was. We had JUST found out about the deployment extension (via the news!) and he was doing damage control, and when he was done talking I felt like thanking him. HAHAHA!

He handed out coins and he gave me 3...one for each of my kids even though the boys were at school at the time, which I thought was super nice. What can I say? I think military coins are cool. LOL.

I was sitting near the front of the auditorium for the speech/Q&A and breastfeeding. HAHAHAHA. So, there is a slight chance that Mr. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff saw part of my boob. Hahahahahhaaha.
