You know,
As a United States Marine, I have taken a rather unhealthy interest in this political season, watching everything happen over various networks and the www. I have never spoken out on my views of the presidential candidates for good reason. It hinders my ability to make sound judgments.
But.
Now that everything seems to coming to a head with the official tickets set up, I can’t help but wonder why certain things happen the way they did. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin seems to be a very good Pro-Choice candidate for obvious reasons, but everything leading up to her announcement speaks differently of what type of leadership we can expect from a McCain Administration. He met the Governor only once and between that meeting and whatever information was given to him about her, he decided that she would be able to lead the country in his absence for any reason.
The fact that he didn’t even know her daughter was pregnant prior to asking her to join his ticket just really speaks untold amounts confusion and skepticism on his behalf. Honestly, do I have a ligament concern for thinking that McCain is simply trying to garner votes by doing whatever it takes to overtake a leading Obama?
