Do you give, during the giving Season? Posted on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 Happy Holidays, Marry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, ect.... No matter what religion you follow, or if you don't follow any religion, it is Season for giving and good will to man. The question I have is: Do you donate to charities and to whom? Have you ever been on the receiving end of charity? Please tell me your stories. I myself drop off a turkey at the local radio station turkey drop once a year and spend the weekend after Thanksgiving ringing bells for the Salvation Army at least one day a year. As a child I was on the receiving end of three turkey dinners from the local food closet. I have also received toys from the Salvation Army multiple times growing up. With out those gifts, Christmas would not have been as cheerful for my family. Though I am now an atheist, I still support the Salvation Army when I can during the Holiday season, especially for their toys program. Do you give, during the giving Season?
