Who are conservatives? An analogy Posted on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 There are generally four types of conservatives/republicans. The first type feels that the major cities have to much of a voice in governement and want small town american values represented in Washington. 'America is not a country with a few important cities on the coast and a whole lot of nothing in between'. Although i agree with some democratic principles, i resent big city democrats running the country. The second, unfortunately are greedy big city plutocrats who have only money on their minds and have the every man for himself mindset (who cares if Joe Blow was in a workplace accident and can't afford to feed his family anymore, I need to make the downpayment on my second Lexus), then there are the paranoid, fearful white suburban folk, who want guns,guns, guns to protect themselves from ever growing urban minorities and the terrorists also including 'security moms', the fourth of course are wacko christians who of course don't realize that the right totally goes against good traditional christian values except with respect to restrictions on abortions and gays. Any other reasons would have to do with greed, fear, selfishness, distorted world views/stupidity, hate or to much fox news. Come on people open your eyes!
