May Political Machine Prediction: Kerry defeats Bush

We're still tweaking the algorithms for The Political Machine and for what it's worth, we have put together our first official model prediction of this November's election based on our current variables (which are obviously subject to change). Bush loses to Kerry by between 20 to 40 electoral votes. There are a few reasons we're predicting this. First of all, there really aren't that many toss-up states. The media has states like Michigan and Wisconsin and Washington State and Oregon a... [read more]

Blog Navigator 0.90 released!

Blog Navigator is a fully featured Internet article reader that reads in RSS feeds (most major sites have RSS feeds these days) and displays them in a clean interface to make it very easy and fast to read through tons of news. There are other RSS readers out there already, but Blog Navigator has a few features that, when combined, make it really stand out: 1) It automatically pre-fetches articles. The game is going gold and we're in crunch time now (the amount we can do in 4 weeks you'll be amazed by).  What things would you like to see that can be ... [read more]

Political Machine Beta 1 available

If you have a subscription to Drengin.net, you can now download the first public beta of Stardock''s new strategy game, The Political Machine. This beta is just that - a beta. It is not representative of what the final game will be like and has a great number of limitations. Some key notes: 1) It currently will only run on Windows XP. We expect to have that fixed next week. 2) The multiplayer is buggy (it''ll crash if either player goes on TV or uses political operatives) 3) You MUST ... [read more]
